Robert Morel, Co-founder, Director of Financing and Consulting Services

Mr. Robert Morel is the Co-founder and Director of the Financial and Consulting Services for City One, LLC. Mr. Morel's has over 25-years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, which includes working for prestigious New York City commercial real estate firms such as Edward S. Gordon Company, and Huberth & Peters, among others. He has also worked in the New York City Office of Economic Development, the New York City Industrial Development Agency, and other governmental agencies.

While at the New York City Office of Economic Development, Mr. Morel had the opportunity to forge relationships with key City and State legislative and policy-making personnel. Furthermore, he became a noted expert in the complex rules and regulations governing City, State, and Federal economic development programs. While with the New York City Industrial Development Agency, Mr. Morel learned the skills essential to tax-exempt bonds issuances, and the use of other vehicles to finance industrial, and local economic development projects.

Mr. Morel's range of experience in real estate finance and economic development means he is uniquely qualified to assist City One clients by arranging bank and non-bank financing, SBA loans, researching eligibility for specific governmental financing programs, and applying for relevant energy reductions and property tax abatements.

Since Co-founding City One in 1997, Mr. Morel has helped over 250 companies qualify for various economic development benefits, helping to raise over $250,000,000 for his clients, in deal sizes ranging from $300,000 to $10 million.

Mr. Morel holds a Masters Degree in Policy Analysis and Urban Affairs from the New School of Social Research and a Bachelors of Arts from New York University.
